Owners and Operators
Since April 2004 Ed and Pam have been active in the day-to-day operations at Stony Brook. Under their guidance the business has quadrupled! They are proud to offer one of the most diverse inventories of vacation rental properties in the area and have passed on their ‘customer first’ approach to an ever growing and highly professional staff. From two dreamers with zero experience to a full-time staff with 4 departments and over 75 years cumulative experience!

Front Office Staff, Reservations
Laura came to us in May 2013. In her own words she “loves working at Stony Brook! I love the fact that the team works very well together, knowing that no one person is more or less important than another. We all have the same goal – Happy Guests who want to come back to see us!” Most likely your first contact will be with Laura and she is determined to make it a memorable one.
Front Office Staff, Reservations
Prior to coming to Stony Brook Cabins, LLC in October 2013, Ronda had been with another rental company in the area in a similar position for eight years. Her primary role at this time is extending our office presence in the evenings and on the weekends – a critical need prior to her arrival. Ronda has a tremendous phone presence and is a valuable asset. She says “I have done this for several years and I can say there is not another company I would rather work for.”
Front Office Staff, Accounting
Marilyn, centered between Pam and Laura, has been in charge of bookkeeping and accounting for us since September 2012. Prior to that time she was in a similar position with another rental company in the area for the previous thirteen years. Marilyn is very active in the local community and volunteers her services, pro bono, to her church.
Kim joined the team in June 2013 after serving in a similar position locally for the previous eleven years. She has oversight of our contract cleaning crews and is responsible for their compliance with specific Stony Brook cleaning requirements and standards. She is additionally responsible for inventory in the properties and has oversight of the commercial laundry facility at Stony Brook. Kim says, ”I know how hard people work to be able to vacation with us and I work very hard to do anything I can to make their stay with us as perfect as it can be.”
Maintenance and Grounds
Prior to coming to us in September 2012 Lonnie held a similar position at another rental company for the previous thirteen years. He has accumulated multiple skills over the years and is very active in trouble shooting and minor repairs including appliances, furniture, gas fireplaces, hot tubs, plumbing, flooring, sheetrock repair, tongue and groove installation, etc. He has even built cabins. So there isn’t much that he hasn’t seen.
