Ball Drop and Fireworks Show

A family favorite, the 26th annual Ball Drop and Fireworks Show in Gatlinburg will be filled with fun and excitement. Located at the intersection of Parkway and Historic Nature Trail, this event will begin early and include live music and party favors. At midnight, the illuminated ball will drop, signaling the start of the colorful fireworks show.

Country Tonite's Special Show

There will also be special family shows in Pigeon Forge on New Year's Eve. Country Tonite will have a celebration beginning at 10:00pm on December 31. Their two hour holiday show will end at midnight. Those in the audience will receive noisemakers and party favors to celebrate. When the clock strikes midnight, there will also be a nonalcoholic toast.

Dance with the Sharks

Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies has scheduled the annual Dance with the Sharks. One of the best kid-friendly events in Gatlinburg, guests will be able to leave with a personal souvenir photo and will even be able to watch the fireworks at midnight. Guests can dance, eat and enjoy from 9:00pm to 1:00am. Those attending can enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres, a carving station, stuffed mushrooms, shrimp cocktail and more.
