The cabins are great as always. The walk in shower is great for my mom. There was plenty of room for all of us. We also like that it is close to the Smoky Mountain National Park.

There were several things we wanted to make mention to you about our stay in the cabin that we rented from Stoney Brook. First of all, the location was perfect and we enjoyed the easy access to all the shops and restaurants. Secondly, we appreciate your being prompt about helping us out when we called asking for sheets for the pull-out bed but 3 of our family members had to go to a hotel to sleep on the first night there because there were no sheets for the pull-out sofa beds and your office was already closed when we discovered that there were no sheets provided for the sofa beds anywhere in the cabin. We called and you did have someone bring them out the next day but it was still an extra hassle and expense that we had not planned on to have 3 of us have to travel and pay for a hotel on our first night there. There were a few other things we wanted to report to you about the cabin that were problems for us. The refrigerator had two shelves missing on the door shelving which made it impossible to use the door for storage of any food items. The light/fan in the bedroom on the left side of the main floor had a short in it such that the fan would not work unless you jigged the light switch and vice versa. There is a light bulb burnt out over the shower in the bathroom off of the main level bedroom on the right side of the cabin and it was pretty dark in the shower with the light not working. The potbelly stove on the bottom deck balcony would not light when we attempted to use it. The pull-out sofa bed on the lower level is broken. The pots and pans that are provided in this cabin are in terrible shape. The teflon on the non-stick pans is all peeling off and the other pans were in disrepair and basically not useable as well. Thankfully, one of our family members brought pots and pans and a crockpot, otherwise, we would not have been able to prepare our meals with the ones that are currently provided in this cabin. And as a matter of safety and so you will be aware for future occupants of this cabin, the wooden steps to this cabin are extremely slick with mold. All of the people that stayed in the cabin with us this past week had no problems navigating these slick steps, but we believe it would be a hazard for older or very young occupants that may stay in this cabin in the future. Thank you.
