The Great Dogwood Manor

the place was amazing. everyone in our group of 25 was able to claim a room for themselves and kids. the best part is that all the rooms were equipped with its own restroom and TV. overall the cabin was amazing, large kitchen with lots of tables and chairs. restroom was fully stock of toiletry. the down stairs level the entertainment room was a great addition with movie theater chairs, a pool table and table top reto arcade. the hot tube was also at the lower level on the outside. beside going up and down the stairs this place checked off all of our needs for the 2 nights and 3 days stay for our family trip to Gatlinburg. the cabin is less than 5 mins from the main street of Gatlinburg via driving and like a 15 mins walk down to the main street.

Home was well furnished to support our large family. Kitchen had plenty of accessories, dining area plenty of sitting space, bathroom had plenty of towels and toiletries available. Only issue we had with the home is a couple spots on floor that had flooring broken and missing and a fan in a bedroom that was loose to the ceiling. But nothing that negatively impacted our stay. The home was close to town allowing us to walk. It was also close to many hiking trails. We were also able to see bears from our back porch. Would recommend this home to others that plan to visit Gatlinburg.

We loved our time at The Great Dogwood Manor. We had about 22 people in our group, so we were below the capacity of the property, but the space was perfect for us. The bedrooms are all good sized, and there is plenty of room for bigger kids in the two bunkbed bedrooms. The kitchen and eating areas were perfect for a large group. Everything was clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed having space to be together as a group and also enough bedrooms to retreat for some quiet when needed. We made great memories here. Thank you!

We were looking for a place that could easily accommodate 18 family members, this place did not disappoint! What an incredible stay we had. Plenty of space for everyone. We loved how we all had our own bathrooms. The house is very well stocked and had all we needed. Walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg was a bonus. Our family had come from Australia, The Netherlands and Nashville… what an lovely time we all had being together under one roof. Will definitely be back again. Thank you.

It was perfectly located near everything and yet private enough to have the best of both worlds! At the house your in a wood cabin and feel secluded but literally blocks from the strip! The cabin was better equipped with essentials than what we expected! Every room had its touch and everyone felt they had the best room! We even saw a mother bear with her three baby cubs! I could go on for days but I would recommend again and will returning in the future!

This home was everything it said it was. We were down in Gatlinburg for our wedding and the house was great for the 30 of us. Everyone had there own space if they needed it. The kitchen was stocked with almost everything we needed we had to buy garbage bags but that was no big deal. The walk from the house to downtown isn’t bad at all.
I would recommend staying here with a group everyone will have a blast!

My group and I traveled to Gatlinburg to celebrate a few birthdays for the weekend. We had an amazing time, the house was very clean and in a perfect location. It was also spacious for a group of 25. One day we all walked to downtown Gatlinburg in about 7 mins. We were also not too far from Ober Gatlinburg which is where we went snow tubing. We did have some issues with the fridge and the garbage disposal but maintenance was sent out within an hour of calling the customer service line. If you want to visit a cabin that doesn't exclude you from humanity or look like you are driving into a scary movie this place is highly recommended.

A beautiful property with a great layout for a crowd! Convenient location. Upon arrival we found the coffee pot still had grounds in it, a wine glass was put away broken, and most of the TV remotes were missing their batteries but other than those minor details we had a great experience. I would rent this property again, but next time will rent from Vacasa as that site seems to have the original listing (it seems we paid VRBO an extra couple hundred to rent from Vacasa).

This property is within walkable distance to Gatlinburg downtown and great for groups of 20-30 members. very spacious and six bunk beds in a room are very attractive for Kids. We spent a good amount of time in the Basement playroom and theatre place. You may have surprise visitors, Bears if you are luckily in this location. Could be an expensive cabin depends on time of the visit still worth the cost.

We really valued that this place gave us all plenty of room, but also privacy! We traveled to Gatlinburg as 4 independent families to spend the week and it was a great space for us to get together. It had most of the things that we needed in the unit and the porches were amazing! The location was perfect for walking down to the busy strip. We had some issues with parking and people using our spaces. Overall, it is a great place to spend the week.

This cabin offered everything we needed for a large group. With the double appliances, many bedrooms, and large lay-out, we were able to comfortably fit our large gathering in there. I would highly recommend this cabin! The cabin is only a short walk to downtown Gatlinburg, which was a big bonus!

This cabin was great for our church group of 46. The location is perfect for a busy weekend of shopping and activities. The cabin has plenty of kitchen space, and a decent amount of room for everyone to gather together. Don’t book this expecting glorious mountain vistas, but any true group leader will think this cabin checks all the boxes.

This cabin was rented for a company retreat of 10 associates. The 10 bedroms with private ensiutes was perfect for our needs. The large kitchen was well stocked with the exception of measuring spoons. We had to improvise and everything still turned out great. The convenience to downtown Gatlinburg was a hit for most everyone in the group. We will definately consider this cabin for our next meeting.

My church held its 2nd Annual Marriage Retreat and I could not have thought of a better place than the Smokie Mountains! This cabin was beautiful and was equipped with everything we needed! Spacious, luxurious with all the bells and whistles! It accommodated all 10 couples and we all left with a life changing experience that we will remember forever! Can’t wait to start planning next years retreat! We will most definitely be heading back to the mountains!!

When our first cabin rental choice wasn't available for our Smoky Mountain Christmas Family Vacation, we found this company online.

We were able to book a 10 bedroom cabin that could sleep up to 53 guests for a fraction of what others were charging. They also offered great deposit and payment options making this a very affordable accomodation for our 21-person group.

The cabin looked better in person than in the online virtual tour! We particularly loved the bunk bed rooms with the loft and queen bunks! Another great feature were the 2 en suite bedrooms on the main level that suited the two 80 year old matriarchs of our family perfectly!

Each of the King bedrooms had it's own bathroom and there was a common powder room on the main level.

The gourmet kitchen was well stocked with most of the equipment we needed during our weeklong stay. Anything else that we needed was available from the nearby dollar store and grocery store.

Our family really enjoyed the personal hot tub, theater/game room, electric fireplace and indoor pool for guests!

The location was in perfect proximity to both the main attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! The short, yet hilly, walk to the Gatlinburg Parkway allowed us the exercise needed to walk off all those delicious pancakes and BBQ!!!

One of the most special touches was the Christmas decorations and tree that provided just the right holiday magic to make this one of our best Christmas vacations EVER!!!

We have a girls trip every year at this time and by far this was the most relaxing and fun filled trip. The cabin is exceptional and the owners made every effort to make us comfortable. This cabin was awesome. It far exceeded our expectations. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils, cookware, and dinnerware you would want. An ample amount of towels and hand towels were available in each bathroom- that's not always the case in other cabins I have stayed in. The decor was perfect and just so well done. We would definitely rent this cabin again.
