1. Herbert Holt Park

Located on the banks of the West Prong of the Little Pigeon River is Herbert Holt Park in Gatlinburg! This park features a covered pavilion that seats up to 128 people and public restrooms, making it a great place to host an event. Gatlinburg’s Trout Rearing Facility is here at Herbert Holt Park, so you’ll find some great opportunities to do some trout fishing! This park features a “children-only fishing” area plus a handicap accessible fishing pier. A playground, picnic tables, walking trails and more make Herbert Holt Park the perfect place for a variety of outdoor activities!

2. Mynatt Park

Mynatt Park is another one of the great parks in Gatlinburg that features plenty of opportunities for excitement for all ages! Located just outside of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park boundary and near many area attractions, Mynatt Park is a convenient place to have some fun in the sun. Mynatt Park provides fishing for children 12 years of age and younger in designated children’s areas. You’ll want to take advantage of picnic tables, grills, basketball and tennis courts, a baseball field, a children’s playground area, walking trails, a covered pavilion and public restrooms at Mynatt Park!

3. Patriot Park

Venture on over to Pigeon Forge where you’ll find the spacious Patriot Park! Patriot Park, located along Old Mill Square, is dedicated to veterans from Sevier County who served during wartime. A walking path takes you along the Little Pigeon River as flags from the 50 states and the branches of the military line the trail. You’ll find a historic missile, a large model of the Liberty Bell and, during the winter, some incredible Winterfest displays! A pavilion featuring 14 picnic tables and 4 electrical outlets, as well as a large gazebo overlooking the Little Pigeon River can be reserved ahead of time.

4. Wear Farm City Park

A total of 118 acres make up this sprawling park in Pigeon Forge! Wear Farm City Park is a multipurpose park full of ball fields, pavilions and playgrounds! A total of 5 baseball fields with lights, a lighted football field, a multipurpose field and a basketball court make this the perfect place to blow off some steam in the form of sports! You’ll also be able to enjoy 2 playgrounds, 3 pavilions, walking trails, a concession stand and more. Reservations are required for most large events and activities.
