City Lights

Amazing view from City Lights and lots of deck space to enjoy it totally.

The nighttime view of Gatlinburg's beautiful downtown city lights is second only to the spectacular sunrise over the mountain tops.

You enter this lovely cabin on the main floor and you will walk straight through to get a better look at the view from the deck. Spectacular. Living room has big picture windows to bring the view to you even when inside. Large flat screen cable TV. Blu Ray DVD's and flat screens throughout!

One King bedroom and one Queen bedroom with full hall bath located on the main level. Living room has a fabulous wood burning fireplace and the sofa is a sleeper for extra sleeping. Plenty of room for everyone to be together and enjoy the fabulous mountain view. Updated with fresh new décor, paint and an all new kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances, to assure a truly bright, welcoming and comfortable stay.

A cozy, private hot tub nook just off of the main deck, provides a soothing sanctuary surrounded by trees. Upstairs is a master King suite with jacuzzi tub and fabulous view from the windows. New carpeting installed May 2017 - beautiful! You won't want to close your eyes to sleep, but you will. We call it Smoky Mountain Sleeping - nothing like it. Great big flat screen for your viewing pleasure. And then you'll wake up next morning looking at the view while lounging in a comfy bed.

Downstairs is a fabulous game room. Two arcade games and flat screen TV along with a huge wet bar area to keep and serve snacks while everyone is together downstairs. Beautiful new flooring just installed May 2017. There is also a futon for extra sleeping for one or two. The woodburning fireplace provides atmosphere as well as taking the chill off on those chilly winter nights.

King bedroom and hall bath beautifully decorated are also on the lower level.

Full size laundry room downstairs.

Less than 1/2 mile from the swimming pool complex, with baby pool and lots of lounge chairs.

This is one special place. It's at the very end of the road so only one neighbor on one side and there is a small wooded area between the two for privacy. The back looks right out over Gatlinburg and the mountains beyond - spectacular view. Short walking trails available right on this beautiful mountainside property.

Mountain road and it's paved all the way to the front door. Convenient flat parking right in front of City Lights!

Basketball hoop located at club house near pool for some outdoor fun.

The house and amenities were excellent. Proximity to ski slopes and downtown Gatlinburg was ideal.

The cabin was beautiful and the view was stunning. Loved the links that helped our stay. Would definitely stay here again😀

  • Tamara Knight on

The cabin was awesome and the view was great. floors & carpet weren't clean

  • Mike Gates on

The home was lovely and well appointed. The view was breathtaking.

  • Norma Burge on

We had a wonderful time. Daily bear visits. The top deck was all new the second deck was not, causing some concern for little children on it. We had a maintenance issue with the spa tub by the master bedroom. There was no knob on the switch to turn on the jets. Couldn't get it turned on. Other than these issues all was good. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes and cookware. The available grills were workable but average. Overall we had a very enjoyable time with a beautiful sunrise view. We have already recommended your services to some of our friends who asked about our trip.

  • Margaret Lyons on

This is our 5th year staying with Stonybrook and love every thing about them. Houses are always speculate and the service is excellent.

  • Donna Kieffner on

The house was nice and clean. We had room for all of us. The drive up was a booger but we'll worth it. The view was amazing. Also had a momma bear & 2 cubs to visit!

  • Johnny Buff on

Y'all got us a cabin on short notice which we appreciate greatly and thank you !

  • Arlene Lepin on

The cabin was beautiful, very well decorated and kept..just little things that could of been different but we definitely will be back again!

  • Cindy Cox on

Great ! Cabin was great and has an excellent view - parking was a little tight for 4 vehicles though

  • Helen Ledet on

Everyone we dealt with at Stony Brook was very helpful. We loved the cabin and had a great time.

  • Gary Weage on

Cabin inside very nice & clean. Thank you. Re: clean, one exception was dog? hair on futon. Minor: Decking could use painting. One of 2nd floor decking rail vertical slats had large knot hole; would probably not withstand much of an impact before yielding. Minor: there was something melted? on stove surface that really stunk first time the burner was used.

  • Jonathan Alty on

City Lights was a perfect match for our family. The sunrise view of the mountains was spectacular.

  • Whit Rayner on

Nice property, great staff, beautiful vista, good website to view properties

  • Daniel Aucutt on

We enjoyed staying at the 4-BR cabin. It was just the right size for our 7 adults and 2 children.

  • Gadient Ventura on

the cabin was in great condition upon arrival. The rooms were spacious and set up perfectly. i thought the fun pass was a great idea. The only concern i had was with the upper deck railing. It's rotted in a few spots and in my view is hazardous. We need more time for sure. i'll probably return next year for a longer stay. Thanks!

  • Joy Henderson on

The staff was polite and friendly. We really felt like appreciated customers!

  • Amanda O'kane on

The cabin was extremely nice and cozy! We would have loved to stay longer.

  • Tonya Hawkins on

My whole group was so gracious and in awe of the cabin that we want to do a trip every year. We really appreciated the cleanliness and beauty of City Lights.. Thank you!!

  • Kris Barnes on

City Lights cabin/ house was awesome. The views were spectacular, the house was large, roomy, and very nicely decorated. It was clean and very comfortable. I went with my hubby and 4 teenage boys who thoroughly enjoyed the game room and hot tub:) We did not want to leave and look forward to going back as soon as our schedule allows.

  • Steve Atkerson on

The cabin was delightful, the view beautiful. Such a comfortable little cabin with nice decorative touches. Great little place in a great area, so accessible to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park for idyllic nature walks, fantastic views and waterfalls. We took our bikes and were able to do some biking in the Park at both visitor's centers and in Pigeon Forge, Tremont and the Deep Creek area of the park. Then for a plethora or restaurants, gift shops and entertainment, Gatlinburg was right at the bottom of the mountain where the cabin was located and Pigeon Forge about 10 miles away, another easy drive.

  • Ross Fain on

Liked the location. We had bear sightings every day that we were there.

  • Peggy Audette on

Very easy to book online, informational emails, and check-in. Were responsive with bringing out space heaters due to cabin lower level extremely cold.

  • Dan Cornwall on

We were so pleased with our stay at City Lights. You have thought of everything. I was impressed with how clean the property was. I have paid more for properties half as nice. The game room was a favorite meeting place for the family. Wonderful view and more private then the other cabins in this area. LOVE the express check in! Dan Cornwall

  • Elizabeth Rose on
