The downstairs game room is a great space for everyone to hang out. In addition to the large flat screen TV, it offers a full-size pool table and foosball. The futon opens into a bed for 2, enabling Misty View to sleep 8 people in all. The kids will definitely want to make this their bedroom: Who wouldn’t want a foosball table in their sleeping quarters?
Large master suite takes full advantage of the beautiful space open in the loft level. In addition to handsome (and comfortable!) king-size bed there is plenty of storage and a ceiling fan certain to lull you to sleep. The loft’s suite is especially luxurious, including a large flat screen tv and your own private balcony. You and your special someone can step outside to gaze up at the stars or enjoy that first cuppa in the morning, without waking the others. It also has its own spacious jetted tub. A long soak is the perfect way to end a busy day… and to begin a romantic evening. The upstairs suite has a sitting area too; the rocker by the window makes a fabulous reading nook. And the suite includes a private bathroom.
On the main floor the king bedroom offers privacy and space with a large flatscreen tv, ceiling fan and plenty of storage. The hall bathroom is right outside the bedroom door. Having a full bathroom for each bedroom is so convenient. Also convenient are Misty View’s washer and dryer, just in case you want to take everything home clean and keep up with the towels while you're here.
When it comes to dining, you have options. You can head out to the many nearby restaurants: Everything from Southern comfort food to Mexican cuisine is just minutes away. Another option is to cook and dine alfresco. Misty View has a charcoal grill and a picnic table just off the front porch—and everyone knows the fresh mountain breeze makes everything taste better! Or you can cook and eat inside the cabin. The dining table seats 4 with room to spare, and the kitchen is equipped with a full complement of appliances, cookware, and tableware. Even if you prefer to eat indoors, you’ll want to make the most of Misty View’s covered front porch and spacious rear decks. The porch swing is sure to be a favorite perch, rivaled only by the rear deck’s hot tub. Especially after a day of hiking, mountain biking, skiing, or golfing, a soak in the massaging jets of water will feel so good.
Misty View is located in Gatlinburg’s exclusive Cobbly Nob neighborhood, itself part of a 1,000-acre resort. In the summer you can take advantage of the 2 Cobbly Nob swimming pools, both include a patio with chaises and a changing room. And year-round you can stroll among its lovely walking trails.
