On Smoky Pond is a gem. Beautiful location. Close enough to town and the park, but secluded enough to feel you're away from it all. Great view. Fireplace was helpful and used for the cold nights. The washer and dryer were very helpful to have as well. Staff kept good communication with us beforehand, and called on our first day as well. It's worth another stay.

I think a little salt for the ice would’ve been helpful and the dryer took two cycles to dry clothes. However other than those two things it was perfect.

We loved our stay! The cabin is beautiful and cozy. It’s so convenient to everything downtown but just far enough away for privacy. The view is to die for. The pond is dreamy and we loved watching the ducks!

The cabin was amazing !! The location was perfect far enough away from the city that you felt secluded but close enough that you had easy accessibility to downtown gatlinburg & pigeon forge. We did have issues with bears but that was to be expected!

Frist of all this cabin was very well maintained and extremely clean. We loved that. The location is great, close enough to town to be downtown in 10 , but far away for all the people that it was peaceful. Stony Brook called to see if we needed anything, they came out for the trash when we asked for it to be emptied. My family wants to come back next year.

We are returning guests with Stony Brook Cabins- this time with family! On Smokey Pond is a very nice cabin in a quiet area close to just about everything. We really enjoyed the cabin and the younger group loved the arcade game with the classic games they grew up with! Thank you for a beautiful cabin stay in the Smokey’s.

Within minutes of booking with Stony Brook Cabins, I received a welcoming call and felt assured we chose the right accommodations for our week long stay in Gatlinburg. The cabin, On Smoky Pond, was exactly as described, conveniently located and beautifully decorated. We received a call an hour prior to our arrival letting us know the cabin was ready and given the virtual check in info. The appliances were top notch and it appeared to be well taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the Alexa, and the arcade game, as well as our morning bloody mary's with the sound of the small creek flowing alongside us, while watching the ducks play in the pond. There were a few things we found that could use improvement, such as the park grill, it could be updated, but it was usable and our steaks and burgers were amazing, the hot tub, the jets did not work properly and we found an old hair band on the dial, but all in all it was still refreshing and relaxing.. there was garbage behind the cabin in the woods, we assumed an animal got into someones trash, but it was there the entire week, the TV in the living room area, was stuck on 720p so the screen was not in full HD and the channel would not change with the remote. So we were stuck with only one channel in that room the entire week, luckily it was on a station we could at least watch a movie in the evening together. We did place a call to the office, as we didn't want to take it upon ourselves to mess with the components to try and fix anything, we were greeted with a friendly voice and told someone would be over to check it for us, we waited hours and no one came, we called again to see when someone would be coming and if we needed to be there, and were told we did not need to be there and they did not have a time as to when anyone would be there, that maintenance is on their own schedule. Needless to say, no one ever did come. Even with the small cons we noticed, it did not deter our decision and we absolutely chose the right place to spend an amazing week. We overall were impressed with the view, the cabin, the essentials provided and the opportunity to visit the amazing town of Gatlinburg and would absolutely stay with Stony Brook again.

Great location, private yet still in a nice community. Super view of mountains and duck pond.

Wonderful experience from reservation to check out. The cabin was comfortable enough for 6 people, and the location was perfect. You are only 5 minutes from town, but feel as if you’re far up in the mountains, and can completely relax.

Staff was always helpful and responsive when we needed them for a few issues we encountered during our stay.

Our only question was, should bear proof bins be locked? We didn’t stay long enough to have much trash, but want to return and stay longer.

Had a great time! Great location for Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We got to do so much, the sky bridge, 3 Ripleys attractions, the Gliders and the Jurassic boat ride. We traveled on the tram to Ober for ice skating and the short trip to Parrot Mountain was so much fun. The room inside was very clean and comfortable and gorgeous. Found everything we needed. Hot tub was perfect and enjoyed our daily visitors (the ducks) to our pond daily. The game console on the upper level was fun for the ones that wanted to play (just sometimes stubborn to get it to start a game). Would definately love to come back to thos cabin for our next stay.
