Take the Gatlinburg Trail for a moderate roundtrip of 3.8 miles where you'll walk next to a river for most of the trail. Twin Creeks Trail is another great beginner trail in Gatlinburg that is 4.5 miles roundtrip.3. Taste Moonshine
The Smokies were known for being a place where moonshine was abundant during Prohibition. Now you can taste it at a few places in Gatlinburg for a small fee of $5. At Sugerlands Distillery Company, your $5 tasting fee goes towards a purchase in their store. You'll taste a few of their flavors, from maple bacon to blueberry muffin. Everyone in your group will love playing a round or two of mini golf! The features are entertaining and you can compete with each other to see who will win.
