This summer, there are plenty of new things to do in Pigeon Forge at Dollywood! From exciting new celebrations and a new Pigeon Forge attraction ride to the numerous shows at Dollywood, there is plenty to keep you entertained for hours! Don't miss out on this year's newest additions to Dollywood!

Great American Summer and Dolly's Nights of Many Colors

Now through August 4, Dollywood is celebrating The Great American Summer! The Great American Summer features extended park operating hours; Dollywood will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day. As the sun sets, Dollywood will present Dollyâs Nights of Many Colors, a fireworks display that will light up the Smoky Mountain sky! You can view the fireworks from any area of the park, but the fireworks are especially wonderful from atop a roller coaster!

America's First Wing Coaster: Wild Eagle

If you are looking for things to do in Pigeon Forge, check out the newest ride at Dollywood! America's first wing coaster, Wild Eagle, was recently named Best New Attraction of 2012 by the National Amusement Park Historical Association. The number one thing that makes this ride unique is the seating; riders sit on the sides of the track, hovering in the air, rather than sitting in a train directly on the coasterâs track. The ride sends passengers 21 stories above Dollywood at 61 miles per hour, overlooking the beautiful Smoky Mountains! As your feet dangle, you will feel the gusts of wind above and below you as you encounter all of the twists and turns of the coaster! Make sure you fly on the Wild Eagle during your next trip to Dollywood!

'My People' Show
The newest show at Dollywood, My People, makes its home in Dollywoodâs new Dreamsong Theatre. The show tells the story of the life of Dolly Parton, from her strong East Tennessee roots to her rise to fame. Written by Dolly, it features an excellent cast that includes many of her own family members! The show in Pigeon Forge can be seen until January 4.

The Great American Country Show

GACTV and Dollywood are pairing up now through October 26 to present a 40-minute country music show! There will be six singers and a six-piece live band during each performance at The Great American Country Show. Focusing on country hits, artists will present a variety of country tunes. Be sure to check out the schedule for The Great American Country Show because there are special appearances by country performers that change weekly!

Gazillion Bubbles: New Dimension

The Gazillion Bubbles show in Pigeon Forge, at Dollywood, creates an interactive bubble world that is fun for the entire family! There are many aspects of the bubble show, including light shows and bubble art! An endless amount of bubbles fill the stage and theatre for your bubble-popping pleasure! The Little Engine Playhouse

The Little Engine Playhouse brings books to life! This 20-minute show in Pigeon Forge, at Dollywood, features sing-alongs, written by Dolly Parton.
