Smoky Mountain Attractions Honor Educators with Teacher Appreciation Days

Titanic on the oceanSometimes teachers just need a recess from lesson planning, standardized testing, and everyday stress. Education is a challenging field, so to honor those in the school systems, the Smoky Mountains will be having Teacher Appreciation Days running from February 21 through March 9 at attractions in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Tomb: Egyptian Adventure and Magiquest

The Tomb: Egyptian Adventure and MagiQuest are offering special admission for teachers and one guest. Additional guests are $5 per person through the end of Teacher Appreciation Days.


MagiQuest is a world where your wand leads you to quests of adventure. Journey to discover treasures and secrets and the best part is that each guest goes through the game at their own pace.

At the Tomb, guests find themselves in an ancient Egyptian adventure with challenges that must be completed as a group to escape. The Pigeon Forge attraction lasts around 45 minutes and begins every 15 to 30 minutes.

Ripley's Attractions

Any school personnel and one guest receive free admission to any of the Ripley's attractions in Gatlinburg, including Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. Up to four additional guests only pay $10.00 plus tax. This special is good for all eight of the area Ripley's attractions.

Educators and school personnel must have a valid ID and current paycheck stub to receive the discount.

Titanic Attraction

At the Titanic attraction in Pigeon Forge, the crew honors educators from private and public Tennessee schools the entire month of February. All teachers and principals with a proper ID are invited to purchase tickets at only $8.50 each. Each educator may bring one guest or their immediate family, up to 4 children and 2 adults, for this special price as well. Guests may purchase tickets online in advance, or purchase tickets at the door.

The Titanic opens each day at 9:00am and closes between 5:00pm and 8:00pm throughout Teacher Appreciation Days.

Family Fun Pass
