Dollywood’s Water Park in Pigeon Forge Officially Open for Summer

Dollywood’s Splash Country water park in Pigeon Forge is officially open for the 2014 summer season. Now families can enjoy the stunning views of the mountains with a refreshing dip at one of the most popular water parks in the country!

Now through September 1, families can enjoy the beauty of the mountains with the fun of the water right here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Splash Country features more than 20 thrilling rides and slides, not to mention canopy retreats and lazy rivers.

For a relaxing experience Dolly’s water park in Pigeon Forge, guests can rent a canopy retreat, where you can sit in the sun or lounge in the shade without crowds or other groups. To make a splash, just hop on over to the wave pool, nearly 25,000 square feet of fun in the sun.

Those who want a thrilling adventure can take a ride on RiverRush, Tennessee’s first and only water coaster. That isn’t the only exciting ride in the park. There are over 20 options for guests of all ages, from children’s low speed to screaming thrills.

There is tons more fun to be had at Dollywood’s Splash Country, including a Riverside Trading Post for souvenirs, Splash & Dash Sundries for odds and ends and much more.

There are even on-site restaurants, so there’s no reason your family can’t make the most of a full day at the water park. From American burgers to authentic pizzas, sweet treats to game favorites, Splash Country’s restaurants will keep you hydrated and satisfied no matter your taste.

Sunny Money is available to guests who would rather not worry about carrying cash during their visit to the park. This cashless wristband system works just like cash, which can be purchased from any of the on-site merchandise locations.

Another unique option for park guests is the Time Saver Pass, which can be used to reserve a place in line for the water rides and slides, so there’s no need for waiting in line with the crowds. Using the wristband, you only have to schedule your time at one of the kiosks located in the water park.
