Have you heard the exciting news? Everywhere you turn these days, Paula Deen seems to be announcing another addition to the Great Smoky Mountains. First a restaurant and multi-city tour, and, now, the famed chef has announced a new store that will open in Gatlinburg later this year.

Paula Deen's Family Kitchen

Deen announced a new restaurant in Pigeon Forge that is scheduled to open later this summer. Located in the Island in Pigeon Forge, the celebrity chef's restaurant will join other restaurants including Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, Mellow Mushroom, Timberwood Grill and Dick's Last Resort.

Although dining at her restaurant is nice, Deen's fans might appreciate seeing the chef in person even more. If you can't get enough of Paula, she'll be launching a multi-city cooking tour this June, and her first stop is in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Held at the LeConte Events Center, Paula Deen Live! will be begin at 7:00pm on June 21 and 22. The 90 minute live show will include laugh-out-loud stories, cooking demonstrations and audience games.

Following the two day stop in Pigeon Forge, the live tour will continue through around 20 more shows in the South. Tickets to her Pigeon Forge shows are $42.50, $55.00 and $72.59.

New Shop in Gatlinburg

Unlike the new restaurant in Pigeon Forge, Deen's Gatlinburg shop will focus more on helping visitors prepare the delicious dishes. The retail operation is set to carry cookbooks, spices, candles, cookware and apparel.
