Gorgeous new living room leather furniture August 2015. Fabulously comfortable, lots of seating.
The massive log structure is impressive and really captures the feel of what a Smoky Mountain vacation should be. You enjoy the cozy atmosphere of staying in a true log cabin complete with stone fireplace and wood floors. Yet you are surrounded by impressive luxury and the extra touches that make you feel you chose the right home for your vacation. The large log post and beam look throughout the cabin emphasizes the massive structure and adds to the rustic feel throughout.
New hands on owner in 2013 installed granite counter tops, shower doors and venetian bronze hardware in all 6 and one half bathrooms. Very upscale! You'll love the luxurious look and feel. Splashes of color give it that warm, welcoming "tastefully decorated" feel throughout. Lots of upgrades and changes - if you stayed before 2013 you'll be impressed at the fresh new look this gorgeous cabin has. If you haven't stayed yet - well, what are you waiting for?
The living room is spacious and elegant with lots of seating facing the stacked stone fireplace, and the mountain view. And, of course, there is also a large screen TV centrally placed atop the massive log beam mantel. Plenty of coffee tables to hold your favorite snacks. Unbelievably high cathedral ceilings, all wood, and large beams create an incredible sense of spaciousness and beauty for this comfortable room. You won't want to leave.
Just off the large living room is a spacious kitchen with all modern appliances, large work island and extra seating. Well lit, practical floor plan for preparing meals and cleaning up, the kitchen is so beautiful you will really enjoy the time you spend there. Second frig located downstairs. Adjacent to the kitchen and through the beautifully carved log arch is a large dining area with seating for 12 at one long table. Nearby are two tables which can seat 4 each. And 4 stools at the kitchen island for a total seating capacity of 24 all together in one room.
There are two large, covered decks just off the kitchen, on either side of the large dining area. One has a large double gas grill with comfortable seating for the meal preparers and supervisors. The other deck, also covered, has outdoor tables and chairs for those who would like to enjoy an occasional meal outdoors gazing at the Smoky Mountains.
The master bedroom suite on the main floor enjoys a splendid view of the mountains, beautiful furnishings, a spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, walk in shower, large walk in closet and TV/DVD. The deck - your own private getaway in this large and luxurious mountain cabin.
Climbing the grand staircase is an experience all its own, and at the top you realize anew just how impressive the view is from your cabin. The loft area is well appointed and designed for fun and relaxation. You can watch TV, revel in the spectacular beauty out the windows, recline on the comfy couches (which also offer extra sleeping) or join in a game of pool on the beautiful, solid wood pool table provided for your enjoyment. Large logs support your every step.
Upstairs and to the right are two King bedrooms which share a hall bathroom with tub shower. Both bedrooms are completely private and one enjoys the view of the mountains the other faces the front of the house. There is another full hall bath in the loft area. So each bedroom has it's own bathroom nearby. All luxuriously surrounded by the massive log beams and log walls of this incredible log lodge.
The lower level houses the theater room. Plenty of seating on sofas or comfy recliners so everyone can see the big screen. New 60" flatscreen tv with DVD. There is also a wet bar, with frig and microwave for preparing movie snacks and drinks. Window coverings provide darkness for that matinee showing. Here too the large log construction and wood floors enfold you in the rustic luxury of your custom built log vacation lodge. There is also a multi-game arcade game which will provide hours of enjoyment for all players.
The lower deck is home to a beautiful 8 person hot tub with an amazing view of the mountains. What an incredible spot for relaxing with friends or family in your own private tub. The covered deck is optimal for enjoying the hot tub no matter what kind of weather. Ahhh, what luxury. There is also a wrought iron table with comfy seating for 6. Fabulous outdoor living area.
On one side of the theater room is a master king suite which has private bath with shower tub, large walk in closet, and TV/DVD. Completely private.
On the other side of the theater room are two more bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed with a twin over queen bunk bed and private shower bath, ideal for Mom and Dad and 3 children or just a couple. This would be a great area for a family with children or to let several children enjoy being on their own. It also works great for a couple with private bath.
Across the hall is another bedroom with queen size bed and twin over queen bunk bed with a full size hall bathroom with tub shower. Large laundry room with washer dryer for your convenience.

Everything was great Except we had no water pressure when we arrived. Barb & I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our family, and everyone really liked the cabin. It was clean and views were spectacular.
